Later, drive through the charming town of Ixtlan de Rio, famous for homemade ice cream. Then a stop at Jala at the foot of the Ceboruco Volcano where you travel back in time to the 18th Century. This region is famous for the longest ears of corn in the world. Then have you camera ready for the lava gardens.
