Chacala Mexico – Day at the Beach
Chacala, Mexico is a lovely and very small ocean-front community located about 20 minutes north of La Penita (and about 100km north of Puerto Vallarta). Easily arrange for a taxi to drop your group off for a day at this lovely beach and have the same driver pick you up 3 or 4 hours later. With a fantastic sandy beach, a few great restaurants, and depending on the day, great waves for boogie boarding in the sun, this has always been a favorite for Casita guests.
This relatively secluded little town has about 300 full-time residents. A handful of restaurants line the beach with a few dozen stores on the street just a few hundred feet from the beach.
