Every Thursday 52 weeks of the year, hundreds of vendors from around the region come to La Penita to set up shops up and down several streets. Just a few blocks up from the Casita, it’s easy to split up your day with a few visits to the La Penita Market and sitting by the pool. In fact, there are so many things to look at, it’s often a good idea to plan to go once to look, go a second time to buy, and a third time just to get any last minute gifts; especially on your last week with us!
Whether you are looking for food, clothing, shoes, music, or a whole variety of trinkets, you will be able to bargain for it all here! It is also a nice treat to buy a pound of fresh shrimp for a snack later in the day.
