Three times over Christmas and New Year's we have stayed at Casita de La Penita for two or three weeks. No where will you find more wonderful hosts than The Gibbs, Bob & Linda. Our regret is that as we push into our 90's old age is catching up making airports and travel mor difficult. If not for that we would be heading for La Penita each winter. Where else can you find a small laid back Mexican village with superb accommodation. Open ocean beach with no harbour, fresh seafood to buy, bread lady at your front door and a weekly local market that takes over the street. Good local restaurants or if you wish you cook that fresh seafood on Bob's superb stainless steel Bar-B-Que. All your stress will drift away.
