Our family spent two weeks at the Casita de Le Penita. We arrived around 7 pm and felt welcomed and at home the moment we walked through the gates. We knew immediately that we had chosen the right place to stay. Our suite was very clean and nicely decorated. A 5 gallon bottled water was supplied upon arrival. The only slight discomfort was the softness of the beds...not very soft. Speaking with friends that were staying in other hotels said the same thing about their beds, so it is a common issue in the area. Linda and Bob had the fridge filled with Cervesa's and pop and a loaf of bread for us upon our arrival. The Casita is located in a prime location, in my opinion. It is close to multiple restaurants, and is only a couple blocks from the main square. Linda and Bob were very helpful. They made sure that our buses and taxi's that we required were booked and arrived on time. They helped with the translation, which was wonderful since I know no Spanish except for Ola....which means...Hello. ( I think! )

Linda and Bob helped to organized our activites such as: zip lining, river boat tour, and fishing tour. The entire group of Casita guests went to a local pub near Guayabitos for an afternoon of margueritas, tacos, and music. It was a fund raising event for Breast Cancer and Children's sports in La Penita. It was located on the beach and fun was had by all! The local massage therapist is directly across the street and he speaks English. Quite a few of the Casita guests…including myself went for either one or two session. There was positive feedback from all customers! What I truly loved about our location is that it was close to everything that we needed and desired for our trip. We enjoyed the quiet pace in La Penita and I felt totally safe the entire time that I was there. I could go for a walk early morning and later evening by myself and have absolutely no worries.

We will be booking our next stay for 2012 at the Casita. One last thing. I feel that the Casita is a suitable place for absolutely everyone.
